Staff and Dr are also friendly, knowledgeable and informative this place helped my husband and I pick out some great new spectacles. I also gained some new information I ever knew about eyes. I think last time I visited an eye doctor was 6+ years ago. I came here because Costco doesn't take Kaiser and the wait is over 30 days. So I searched and find this one nearest to my house. I came without any expectation, was just here to get prescription. Thought it would be an in and out thing. But then Dr. Chang was friendly and knowledgeable, I learned A LOT from him, including getting many of my stereotype busted. I was happy with the service and satisfied with the professionalism. Will definitely refer all my Issaquah friend to him in the future.

When my husband started having some double vision problems, Dr. Chang suggested adding a prism to his eyeglass prescription. This resolved the problem! Dr. Chang takes time to explain thoroughly each procedure of your exam. We are both very confident that we are receiving the best care possible! Pat, Dr. Chang’s assistant is exceptional! She is an expert at helping to pick out the most flattering eye ware, and takes the time to make sure that they are adjusted and fit properly when you pick up your prescription. Meet Dr. Chang
Dr. Chang is originally from the Pacific Northwest and completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Washington, graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology; afterwards, he moved to California where he attended the University of California – Berkeley to obtain his doctorate. Following his didactic coursework, he completed multiple internships that focused on ocular disease and diagnosis, spending time at Raymond G Murphy Medical Center, VA Portland Health Care System and Spark Matsunaga Medical Center where he was the top ranked intern on staff and finished with honors. In his free time, Dr. Chang enjoys hiking, photography, and spending time with his wife and daughter.
Meet Gloria Beal
Our office manager Gloria Beal has been working in optometry and ophthalmology since 2011. She enjoys working closely with patients to maximize their insurance benefits and find the perfect pair of glasses or contacts. She strives to ensure that every patient receives the best care, has an enjoyable experience and looks forward to their next visit. In her free time she enjoys traveling, hiking, camping and working on her calligraphy business.
